- Cinema and Bar
The backdrop for the cinema and bar needed to be dark and interesting whilst the soft furnishings needed to add zing and zest.
Texture was important throughout; the rich Italian chocolate –coloured faux leather with velvet tufts that was used to cover the front of the bar set the tone. Sheer curtains with chunky woven detail dress the French doors, laser cut taffeta panels sit deep inside the windows whilst the sofas are covered in a luxurious chenille. Vibrant citrus coloured cushions complete the look.
- Master Bedroom
A glorious Classical master bedroom on a grand scale. The brief was to create a sumptuous room using a beautiful antique four poster bed as the centrepiece. The palette of soft greens and creams reflects the beauty of the natural surroundings.
A stunning silk embroidered with stylised fritillaria flowers was chosen for both the curtains and pelmets. The pelmets were edged in a green braid to add definition, with co-ordinating tiebacks for the curtains.A subtle patterned warm cream wallpaper provided the perfect background. Beautiful occasional furniture was upholstered in a variety of fabrics to harmonise and add detail.
- Hattie B Shoe Boutique
A tight timescale to transform a small, empty shell into an opulent boutique shoe shop was the requirement here. Key ingredients to the design were to maximise all available space, and so the use of reflective surfaces became an intrinsic feature .The display cabinetry was designed to have storage below and the mirrored panels on the doors help to create a feeling of space, with glass handles to add glamour. The display shelving above incorporates contrasting metallic wallpapers, and a statement square crystal chandelier lights up the window display.
A combination of seating cubes were designed for flexibility, with crystal buttons providing some sparkle.
